About DeadRail

I'm Brian, and welcome to my pool-centered graphic t-shirt company, DeadRail. DeadRail is a personal passion and an expression of my history in life and on the tables.

The Game My life revolves around billiards. I spend every night shooting pool. Whether it's in American Poolplayers Association (APA) and Billiard Congress of America (BCA) leagues, competing in tournaments, or just at a bar to kick balls around, I am at it more than anyone you've ever met. On that note, I have been to over 230 locations in San Diego and out to Texas shooting pool. DeadRail is authentic billiards apparel built for players who actually live for the game. DeadRail is authentic pool. DeadRail is metal.

The Gear & The Process To get these designs onto actual clothing, we use a Print on Demand (POD) model utilizing Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers. Our go-to foundation is the Gildan 5000 Heavy Cotton shirt because it has that durable, heavyweight feel that can actually take a beating in a pool hall.

Full transparency: we haven't perfectly dialed in the entire production process just yet. But I am putting in the work and testing the waters to make absolutely sure every shirt you get feels good, looks sharp, and lasts.

The Art & The Era My artistic flavors are rooted in 80s culture. I grew up skateboarding and riding BMX bikes, and I was—and still am—a metalhead at heart. I don't know if it was Ratfink, Dungeons & Dragons, or Iron Maiden's Eddie, but I always loved the feeling and expression of skeletons, demons, and dragons in drawings. I gravitated toward wild, self-deprecating, outrageous pieces. Dark and sinister, but entirely fun. I've never thought of myself as someone people should listen to or take life advice from, so the art on my shirts carries a lot of my dry, dark, don't-take-this-seriously humor.

The Anti-Pitch Let's be honest: I would absolutely love it if you bought one of my shirts. My realistic goal right now is just to sell 10 of these a week. If you decide to be one of those 10, that would be awesome. What you will not get on this site is any in-your-face sales jargon, fake scarcity countdown timers, or aggressive pitches. I am just putting the art out there. If you connect with it, help me out and consider picking something up to wear to your next match. If not, no sweat. That is all there is to it.
